Welcome to the April issue of western horse UK. In this issue, we have expanded our 'Out and About' section into an 8-page feature. We explore holidaying with your horse right here in the UK. Al Dunning opens the holiday feature by discussing the importance of making the time to get out and have fun with horses, Lindsay explores her bucket list of places to holiday with horses, and Lucy Higgins tells us about her holiday experiences, in particular, the 'Dartmoor Derby'. We hope the feature will give you inspiration if you are thinking about escaping to the countryside even for a short break.
We were fortunate to be invited by Organised Equestrian to watch the Parelli Master Class in March, held at Oakridge Arena and to chat with Pat Parelli. You can find the Parelli interview on pages 20 to 23.
We also have training articles from our regulars including Julie Goodnight and Richard Winters.
In community news, we have updates from AQHA UK and the UK PHA, along with Bob's comment and the western events pages.
